About the Authors
Elle Gianforte is an award-winning writer with experience in both the advertising and publishing arenas. Her copywriting career spans the globe from New York to London to California, and includes work for a diversity of business-to-consumer clients. This extensive advertising background gives her a distinctive marketing edge and a strong understanding of the power of finding just the right word to deliver just the right message—a skill that translates seamlessly to her work in publishing.
Ms. Gianforte is also a collaborative author, ghostwriter, and developmental editor, and has written under the name L.G. Mansfield. She captures the voices of celebrities and other personalities, translating their concepts and talents into print with authenticity and grace. She earned her BA degree in English from Kean University in New Jersey and attended the School of Visual Arts in New York.
Jan Fishler began her career writing and producing informational and motivational videos when budgets were ample, production values were high, and the resulting product was essentially a 20-minute film.
In addition to writing 100+ corporate scripts, she produced The Path to Publication DVD series. Filmed at the Community of Writers Conference at Squaw Valley, the series contains advice from such well-known authors as Amy Tan, Anne Lamott, Janet Fitch, and Mark Childress.
In 2010 she self-published an adoption memoir, Searching for Jane, Finding Myself (An Adoption Memoir), available at Amazon.com.
She has written articles on Post Traumatic Stress Disorder for Vietnow National Magazine, and articles on alternative health for The Union newspaper.
Ms. Fishler has a B.S. in English literature/creative writing from Ohio University and an M.S. in educational technology/instructional design from California State University, San Francisco.
